Groundz4Living was literally borne out of a dream that Ken Becker had in January of 2006.  From that dream, Groundz4Living, a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, has opened a local office at "The Greene Town Center" which is located at I-675 and Indian Ripple Road.  The Greene opened on August 24, 2006 and Groundz4Living was there on that first day! 

Founders, Ken and Cathy Becker have a big heart for those working in retail management and sales.  Over the years, they have seen too many people ‘crash and burn' under the stresses of retail sales.  Their goal and desire is to make a positive difference in the lives of those serving in retail.  Groundz4Living exists to "Bring a Hope and a Future to the Marketplace". 

We have seen that when employees have hope and that positive outlook, they:

• are happier on the job,
• are more productive,
• help bring an uplifting atmosphere to the work environment,
• have less absenteeism
• stay on as long term employees, and
• become a benefit to the store instead of a liability.

WHAT DO WE OFFER AT OUR OFFICE? -  

There are a number of aspects to our business. 

#1 We believe the most important aspect is to get to know the Managers/Owners of the businesses at The Greene and that they get to know us.  We want them to understand our heart and our desire to help others, to help bring about the best in other's lives.

#2 We planned for our office to be an "Oasis" from the hustle and bustle of the business world, for anyone to come and simply relax, get a (free!) cup of coffee, in a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.

#3 We offer brown bag lunch and training, on a variety of topics that will be both interesting and beneficial for the businessman and woman in both retail and the corporate setting.  Check our CALENDAR for updated "Lunch and Learns". 

#4 We will be sponsoring positive, inspirational and uplifting activities in the public, "town square" at The Greene.  

#5 We are available to talk with anyone needing to simply ‘unload' the burdens of life, both personally and those things concerning their jobs, that would be holding them back from being as happy and productive as possible.

#6 Being pastors for 30 years, we are also available to pray for anyone who would voluntarily like that type of help.  We are also equipped to provide any spiritual care for all those working and living at The Greene. 

Groundz4Living also desires to simply be a blessing to those working, living and shopping at The Greene.  We want our office to be an "Oasis" in the midst of the hustle and bustle of life.  So if you are at The Greene, and find yourself overwhelmed in any way, stop by our office for a (free!) cup of coffee, a smile, a listening ear, a kind word, and perhaps a prayer to send you on your way!  We would love to meet YOU!
